Terms of service

These terms apply to businesses (“you”) that use UsualBook to take bookings. By creating an account you agree to them. UsualBook is a business service and is not intended for consumers.

The service

UsualBook gives you an online booking page, a booking calendar for your staff, and automated WhatsApp and SMS confirmations and reminders for your clients. We may improve or change features over time.

Free trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No card is required. At the end of the trial you can choose a paid plan or stop using the service.

Plans and payment

• Prices are shown on our pricing page and billed in GBP.
• Monthly plans renew each month and can be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Yearly plans are paid upfront for 12 months.
• We don't charge commission on your bookings.
• Messaging is included under a fair use policy. We may contact you if usage is far beyond what's normal for a business of your size.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your login details secure and make sure your staff use the service properly.
• Only add client details you're entitled to use, and only send messages your clients would expect about their bookings.
• Comply with data protection law as the controller of your clients' data.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep UsualBook running but can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, or that every message will be delivered. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the service

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or don't pay. You can ask us for an export of your data before your account is closed.
